Thousands of installations later, the conclusion was clear: panels are good. Storing your energy is better. But the battery market was opaque, overpriced, and often unreliable. So we designed our own — with installer requirements, not marketing ones.
It all starts with a wrench and a torch.
In 1996, Alex Grandclaude went into business in Velaux as a plumbing-heating specialist. Residential installations, code compliance, emergency repairs — the trade is learned site after site. In 2012, the business became SAS SIPECC and added electricity, including the first photovoltaic installations. 14 years of field PV start here.
Julien grew up in this workshop. He learned electrical rigor, administrative seriousness, the sense of service. He also understood one thing: a good craftsman is 10% material and 90% impeccable installation.

In 2022, we bet on self-consumption.
In 2022, faced with the strong growth of residential solar, Julien Grandclaude founded AJ Solar — a SAS 100% dedicated to photovoltaics. The idea: apply SIPECC's standards to the solar market, still young and very heterogeneous in quality.
4 years later, AJ Solar has supported more than 1,500 households and businesses in the PACA region. QualiPV, RGE certifications. In-house trained technicians. Customer recommendation rate remains our #1 indicator (★ 4.9/5 from 203 Google reviews).

After 4 years selling market batteries, we created our own.
For 4 years at AJ Solar, we sold and installed all the batteries on the market. The field feedback is clear: expensive, opaque, with vague warranties. Our customers all asked the same question — « and to store my solar surplus? » — and we had no truly satisfactory answer.
In 2026, we therefore decided to create our own brand dedicated to storage: AJ Power. All batteries are designed in Velaux (France) based on our 14 years of field PV experience. Grade A+ LiFePO4 cells, active BMS, measured guaranteed cycles, Victron / Solis / Deye / Growatt / GoodWe compatibility, complete technical documentation. Three models: P15, P30, P45.
